Code of Conduct
All Parish Councils have to adopt the Parish Councils (Model Code of Conduct) Order 2001, which came into force on 27th November 2001. Gurnard Parish Council adopted the Code of Conduct on 9th April 2002, and all Parish Councillors and Committee Members have completed a written undertaking to be bound by the Code. Individual registers of interest have also been completed by each serving Councillor and Committee Member, and a record is kept of all interests declared at meetings. A revised code of conduct came into force on 3rd May 2007, and the Parish Council formally adopt it on 11th September 2007.
