GURNARD PINES HOLIDAY VILLAGE
Gurnard Pines Holiday Village is situated in Gurnard Village, with its entrance in Cockleton Lane just opposite Gurnard Primary School.
Over several years the site has grown both in size and popularity and continues to do so, with one initiative being to gain permission to build a conference hotel adjacent to the entertainment complex, but this has yet to be started and it is uncertain now if it will.
The complex is comprehensive, and there are also outside tennis courts of the highest standard. The Centre caters for holidays, events and conferences, and there is also a leisure club & swimming pools, and plans for an activity "abseiling" tower have just been approved.
New management took over the running of the park in June 2007 and the extensive on-going redevelopment work has included coverting part of the site in 2009 to cater for school trips under the umbrella of "In2Action".
It is also a base now for "Go Active Breaks".
