The Parish Council wish to thank everyone for their support with another successful litter pick held on Saturday 30th March – 12 volunteers including 12 children came out to help – thank you everyone!

A request was received from the Isle of Wight Council for Cowes Town Council and Gurnard Parish Council to contribute £2000 each towards the purchase, removal and installation of 190 metres of railings between Cowes and Gurnard. A  Vacancy exists on Gurnard Parish Council for a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. The position is for 15 Hours a week and is home based, with a requirement to attend 2 evening Council meetings a month at Gurnard Village Hall, except for August when no meetings are required.
