GURNARD PARISH COUNCIL REPORT
At March’s meeting of the Parish Council the main topics discussed were:
Expressions of interests for the Co-Option of councillors to Gurnard Parish Council. Mr. Matthew Smith was appointed and two more candidates are being invited to attend April’s meeting.
A building specification and plan was agreed for a proposed upgrade of the Toilets on Gurnard Green and building quotes are currently being sought.
Councillors have met with Planning Officers and submitted a formal request for two fields on Tuttons Hill to be recommended for Local Green Space Designation.
Neighbouring Famers have kindly offered to continue to trim the hedges at Old School Meadow and estimates are being sought for 3 cuttings of the field; once in April, July and October. A wildlife area has been suggested by the Gurnard in Bloom team which they are currently exploring.
A reminder that Gurnard Parish Council are supporting the Great British Spring Clean 2019 on Saturday 30th March 2019 – if you are able to help please meet at 10am at Gurnard Village Hall, thank you!
FUTURE PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS
The next full Parish Council meeting will be at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 10 April 2019. Residents are welcome to attend all meetings, which are usually held at the Gurnard Village Hall, Westbrook Lane. Please check the Parish notice board and/or the Parish Council’s website for meeting confirmation and the agenda www.gurnardpc.co.uk.
